My friend Larry Anglisano asked if we could chat about getting ready for final inspection and initial flight testing, since he and his EAA chapter are having there RV-12 inspected today! He recorded it and put it up on AvBrief this morning…. I can (and do) talk about this stuff for hours, and we only had thirty minutes, but some might find a few of these points useful.

Appreciated your comments about the owner/builder/pilot being prepared for first flight.

That is a great podcast. As an EAA Flight Advisor with very little flight advisor experiences, this answers several questions, and gives me some excellent examples of what I can do to help my future FA clients seeking help, including helping our technical counselor in preparation for a first flight.

Paul: thanks very much for explaing what you look for, and why.

I've added burgers, brats, and Post-It notes to my "before DAR" checklist

EAA has very good publications regarding first flights, good read!
