The Baffling Paradox……
While that sounds like a clever word play of a title, it is literally a truism - let me explain! We all know that good engine cooling (generally determined by good control of Cylinder head Temps) is dependent on a baffle system that develops nice high pressure above the engine and that forces...

What tool do you use to dimple extra tight tolerance on inboard aft most #8 nut plate on wing rib
Working on page 20-5 dimpling for the k1100-08 nut plate that will go on the bottom aft and inboard most location of the wing. I've got a rivet tail in the way from lining up the female die to the hole center and the male die would be fine except the squeezer interferes with the flap hinge...

Slider canopy variance build ?
My slider has a noticeable difference in the weldment of the sides. (Approx 3/16) The right side is parallel to deck, left has a slope. Should I grind off the L "post" holding the slider bearing to same as R? In my case 1 7/16"

Ball-park estimate for paint job?
For those that are thinking about doing their own paint work, I'd suggest hitting the local auto salvage and buying the cheapest metal fender and hood or trunk lid you can get and use it for practice. Do the prep work and paint it white and experiment. Then sand it all down or strip it and then...

Get the cap all the cool kids are wearing! I don’t get a penny. It’s around $15. $5 more if you want your N-number on the back (I put 'STAFF' on the back of mine because it makes me laugh. Put STAFF on yours too if it makes you smile). And down the road $10 to the charity of your choice...
