Inside cowl prep
Go buy some West System 501 White Pigment Tint for epoxy and mix that in when you seal up the inside. I think I did three coats. You can use a foam roller or cheap brush. Brightens it up and makes it so much easier to clean.

I started the build in December 2018 as I retired from the electrical contracting industry and spent ever day over the last 4+ years working on the build. A heartfelt Thanks to my good friend Stuart who has been with me throughout the build. I went for the quick build fuselage and wing kits, which I estimated saved me at least 2 years build time. We found the plans to be comprehensive and easy to follow the technical team were excellent on the few occasions that we got stuck.

o-320 to io-320 Conversion
So my local tech advisor said that all jugs have the ports for the fuel injectors, but I'm pretty sure my o-320-e2a doesn't. If my jugs don't, I'm fairly sure that you can't just drill and add them so I'd be looking at all new jugs and might as well convert the 150hp to 160hp. So my question...

Trim sensor wiring to GEA24 - Help needed
I think I have my trim servos and flap sensor pinned wrong because they don’t show on the GDU460. All sensors go thru a 9 pin CPC pigtail so pin location swap is easy and I don’t have to fool with the other wires in the J244 connector. Roll is POS3, Flap 4, and Pitch 5, and all 3 are pinned...

Inside cowl prep (new gel coat gray cowl)
I’m almost at the end of the finish kit instructions and they talk a lot about coating the inside of the cowling with thinned epoxy to help protect it. Are these old instructions? My cowl (gray not pink) has a slick surface already- not honeycomb. I don’t think this step should be necessary...
