MIlestone! Installed the canopy. I takes three people. One inside to guide the canopy release pin into the canopy hinges and two people on either side to guide the canopy into the hinges while holding it upright. So, now it's on to finishing the wings!

Fuel Leak at T 905 L
Developed a drip leak in left tank at the leading edge end rib. Hard to tell if its the T 905 bracket rivits or the rib to leading edge skin. . This is the bracket that supports the tank to the fuselage. Anyone experienced a leak in this area and had success with a fix? This is in a...

Modifications that you have Made to your RV-12 after Certification? E-LSA Only!
Thanks! I knew the reason was that they though it should emulate a manual flap handle. But that's bunk! Every pilot I've flown with in the -12 repeatedly moves the switch the wrong way. When you see a switch, you don't think "flap handle". That just doesn't jibe. If I could, I'd either...

Getting started on brake lines
Was going to use some SS flex lines down the gear legs but alum is working out very well. BTW made the loops around the gear using a roll of duck tape to form the aluminum around. Also will use 2in lengths of 1/4 ID fuel pressure hose and gorilla tape to secure to gear. Adel’s in pics are for...

Wing Spar Bolts installed for riveting
I'm about to disassemble and then rivet the fuselage back together. I was thinking about installing a couple of wing spar bolts between the two center wing spars before I start to rivet the fuselage. I thought it might help keep the holes aligned. Has anyone tried this before? I haven't found...

There's a lot of dimensionality (word?) in trying to get this little sucker to read correctly and not exceed the limits of the sensor. I'm not discussing the various FPS switches, only the flap position reading via the Ray Allen sensor. Given that I'm attempting to get a reading on a rotary...
