Tell tails from KOSH

Just wondering if RV rudders are more prone to damage than other types of aircraft.

As in, are there similar reports of rudder damage on Moonies, Cessnas, Beech, etc… while at KOSH?

I have no statistical data to quote, but off-hand I'd say the answer must be yes.
All these other certified aircraft have the left and right rudder pedals interconnected. Most (but not all) certified nose wheel aircraft have nose wheel steering tied in with the rudder cables. These things add resistance, in some cases a lot of resistance, to wind-driven rudder movement. Most 182's, for example, do not routinely have any sort of rudder gust lock installed when parked.

My 10c guess is way less damage, as pointed above.
And them certified don’t park tail into wind in HBC…
