Tax liability

Can anyone tell me my sales tax liability on the project I just purchased?
Do I have to pay tax now or when it is registered and flying?

It depends on where you live. Every state has different rules.

Joe, Maryland sends a tax bill when it see's the FAA Registration. I paid sales tax on my purchases from Van's. That did not stop Maryland Retail Sales Tax Division from trying to shake me down twice for the money. Save your receipts.
