I noticed that the tailcone F-1006 bulkhead flanges are bent substantially inward which makes sense given that those flanges face aft and the tailcone tapers, but the plans do not specify an angle for those flanges and the angle from the factory seems like too much. Similarly, the tailcone frame flanges, which all face forward, would seem to need a slight outward bend but no angle is specified for those either. Has anyone figured out the required angles?
Update: I used a little Trigonometry to calculate the flange to web angles on the F-1006A, C and D bulkheads. Using the difference in height between the F-1006 bulkhead and the F-1007 frame of 4 and 7/8 inches and the distance between the rivet lines on the F-1074 skin of 23 and 15/16 inches, the flange to web angle on F-1006D should be 78.2 degrees. Similarly, using the difference in width on each side between the F-1006 bulkhead and the F-1007 frame of 4 inches and the distance between the rivet lines on the F-1073 skin of 24 and 3/16 inches, the flange to web angle on F-1006A,C should be 80.5 degrees.
