Tail light wiring

Forgive me if this has been covered before. I couldn't find what I was looking for.

How have you run the wires for the tail light/strobe? Pics would help a great deal.

I checked out a bunch of RVs at the MN Wing of VAF meeting a few weeks ago. Everybody seems to have done it differently . Some people went through the spar on the VS midlevel, some people went down through the drainage hole,s ome people went midlevel, some people went down near the bottom. So I take away from that the answer is "anyway you can," although Van's recommendation was in the RVator a few months (or was it years?) ago (don't have the citation handy but it's probably on the RVator index.)
