Is anyone planning on flying their RV12 to Sun-n-Fun? A couple of us are planning to fly ours from Maryland. If interested in joining, let me know.

I flew my -12 to Sun 'n Fun 2023 and it was a blast. I wasn't planning on it but could be persuaded into doing it again this year.

If you are all LSAs consider landing at paradise city. You don’t have to deal with the conga line. You can still depart the main runways if you want.

Good to know!

I landed and tied down at KGIF Winter Haven last time (and KGIF has unleaded mogas) to avoid the conga line.

SNF is generally not as crowed as Oshkosh getting in. Never had an issue. Last couple of times arriving when the show was hot, I waited at KGIF and ate dinner at the airport restaurant and then flew the last 20 miles in after the air show folks departed. Safe and easy.

If VFR, I'll be there in my latest 12 for HBC.

Relatively new is that Amazon is now based there. Apparently when those big jets are about to depart or arrive, the arrival line is put in holding pattern(s).
Don't know how often that happens.
