First condition inspection on my new to me -4. I don’t like how this smoke line has been run along the elevator push rod. I would like to hear your suggestions/opinions on resolving this. Thank you, Ricky.

It appears that on the aft end it rises up above the pushrod. Is there enough slack to reverse that? I.e.: have it curve down and slightly outboard of the pushrod.
-a doubler on the belly skin
-adel clamp the oil line to the belly through doubler.
-if not enough slack, make a “z” bracket out of 1/16” angle to stand your clamp up off the floor and hold the oil line outboard of the pushrod.
Good luck!!

Thanks for your input. There’s plenty of extra hose. That sounds like a good idea. Thanks
