Suggestions for a locking door handle?

Anyone have experience with these from Aerosport products. Seems like a simple switch but with a lock which my current handles don’t have. A bit pricey but then again, this is aviation..

I have these handles. They look great and they lock. Having it locked will only keep out the honest lookers. A thief will find his way in regardless of a lock

Bill, how was the installation of these?
I also have these door handles with locks installed on my RV-10, and I am happy with them.

On installation, I had a problem of my own making. I tried to install the plane-around 180 latch at the same time as these handles with the standard Vans pieces. The problem was that I changed the standard distances internal to the door in order to center the handle mechanism in the door pocket. This caused the Plane-around actuation "bars" to be the wrong length, and required custom made replacement to make everything fit.

If you already have the standard Vans handle in the standard location, then installing these new handles with locks should be simple.

Regards,
