Spinner Bushing (S-1207) Installation

The RV-12 instructions state that the Spinner Bushing (S-1207) is to be glued to the Spinner with “blue Loctite or equivalent” whereas the RV-12iS instructions state that “fuel tank sealant” is to be used.

Any idea as to why the difference?

Do NOT use blue Loctite. Here is quote from the manufacturer's website:
Anaerobic adhesives remain liquid until isolated from oxygen in the presence of metal ions.
Neither the spinner nor the bushing are made of metal.
