Hi again -

Here's an Aero Instruments AN5812 TSO 12v heated pitot that I just removed from my RV-7 to upgrade to a GAP-26. I bought this 20 years ago from a maintenance shop, it's in excellent condition except for a small dent which you'll see in the pictures, which was present when I bought it. The heater worked fine when I removed it. Also included is the connector which you'll need to connect power to the heater elements. Salvaged AN-5812s in far worse condition than this one are going for over $400 on eBay.

I only see one connection on top for the pitot connection, where do you connect the AOA tube? I'm very interested in buying this but there's something I seem to be missing here.

No worries!

This is a standard AN pitot tube - it has just the one pitot connection on the top. You're probably thinking of two-port AoA pitot tubes like the Garmin GAP-26. The Advanced AoA Pro system I removed was designed to retrofit into an aircraft with an existing single-port pitot and static system; it tee'd into the pitot and static lines and also used pressure ports installed on the top and bottom of the wing to sense differential pressure for AoA.

If you're looking for a standalone AoA system, this pitot and the AoA Pro system would fill the bill. If you have AoA-capable avionics that need a two-port pitot, the one I'm selling isn't what you'd need.
