Simple question Narco 810 TSO diagram

Helping a friend with a new to him Narco 810 TSO installation.

I'm missing something simple (hopefully).

The facts:

I have the maintenance manual titled 810 TSO / 811 TSO (The 811 is 24v)

As you can see, the page says the plug is numbered 1 - 12 on the top and A - N on the bottom. The problem with that is A - N is 14 positions and 1 - 12 is 12 positions and the radio plug has 11 on the top and 11 on the bottom.

What am I missing here? The model of the radio matches the model on the cover of the manual.

If you look closely at the connector diagram you will see that positions 5 and E are the position of the polarizing "Key" in the tray connector. That would be located at the missing tooth position on the transceiver edge connector. So don't trust the sharpie markings on the unit. Take a paper towel with alcohol on it and wipe clean the 5 through 11 on top and replace them with 6 through 12. By the same token remove the E through K marks on the bottom. However, for the 12 positions on the bottom being marked A through N (14 letters alphabetically), I suspect that like Bendix/King, Narco skips "G" and "I" per industry standard of not causing errors of interpretation. In other words don't want an I (aye) to be misconstrued as a 1 (one), a G (gee) misconstrued as a 6 (six), or and O (oh) to be misconstrued as a 0 (zero). So mark the missing slot as E then follow it with F, H, J, K, L, M, N. But don't take my guess as the answer. I would take a magnifying glass or cell phone camera to the female tray connector and look for small letters and numbers molded into the plastic shell at each position. This is common on D-Sub connectors so it is probably also common on edge card connectors. I have the complete Narco Com 810 TSO maintenance manual in pdf if you want a copy, but it looks about the same as the print out you already have.

Thank you Jliltd for pointing out my simple errors.
I don’t have access to the tray plug and the plug description at the top of the page was throwing me off.

And thank you for the offer of the manual. I have it in full via pdf.
