Most of my friends want to golf in retirement. I have chosen to focus on a return to my passion of flying in mine.
After a very extensive absence and limited time as PIC, I'm looking for a CFI for intensive instruction (multiple engagements a week) in my newly purchased RV-10 for return to flight training, ultimately ending in a BFR sign off. Insurance says I only need 5 hrs, but I am pretty conservative, so I am estimating I would want 25-30 hrs. Will also be looking for IFR after.
