Securing baffling to cylinders

My new jugs didn’t come with the fancy threaded parts that slide into the front and rear parts of the cylinder to bolt the baffling to them

I’ve read about people tapping the holes and just bolting to them directly

What size?

Yep thats the insert, I remember reading theres enough material to tap the actual hole

It’s pretty thin. Personally, I wouldn’t do that. Pretty easy to make your own barrel nut.
