Section 46-03 Step 5 Remove Ignition

Hi,

Could someone who has done this please give me a clue?

The unit appears to be mounted on 3 rubber mounts. The instructions only call for removal of bolts at rear and left front mounts. That leaves the right front mount where there appears to be an inaccessible bolt. Does this need to come off or does this third rubber mount somehow slide off the post to which it is attached?

Answer

Just answered my own question...

Remove doesn't mean remove the ignition module, just remove the two bolts, and move on to the next step ;-)

Yep! You got it figured out! You should have that engine hung by tomorrow!

Maybe...

Rather depends on...

whether I paint the fibreglass duct
how long the RTV takes to dry
whether I can find an 8mm hex spanner and a big torque wrench
whether I can find four mugs or an engine hoist
whether it fits ;-)

...but definitely this week.
