Scat tube

Neither one... This is SCAT tubing.

Not at all familiar with the -10, does it have solid ducting?

Would someone please step in here and give some lessons on SCAT and SCEET tubing, their applications and some handy tips on how to install it, deal with the wire inside etc.
I have been using it for years, but I really am not confident about it yet.
I imagine many of us would benefit from a lesson, or a link to one...

For the wire, put a bend in the end and tuck it back inside, sort of as shown in the photo. The bend should be in toward the center, so the sharp cut won't penetrate the material.

SCAT is red silicone with a wire inside.

SCEET has two layers of silicone with the wire sandwiched between.

SCEET is heavier and more expensive and is designed to encapsulate the metal wire to prevent it from rusting in higher moisture uses.
