rv6a fuel tank leak at sending unit

We have a leak around the 6" access point and a lot of blue dye around the center where the wire comes from the float. The panel has been cleaned so all traces of blue dye are now gone but I checked the center connector and it is solid tight. Has anyone experienced a leak from that point? There was a small amount of dye coming from the top of the access panel down to the center but a lot of dye around the center and then going on down to the bottom of the wing. the cork gasket looked good with no sealer on it. I am going to put it back together with pro seal. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You will need a new sender. They do occasionally leak. When you put the new sender and cover plate back on don't use a gasket on either just Flamemaster sealant. You can use the old float wire but use the new float.
