RV6 insurance?

I’m doing some research for a possible RV6 purchase and wondered what pilots are paying for coverage. I’ve got a solid background so I’m not concerned about requirements. The hull value will probably be 100K to 135K.
Thanks in advance!

Insurance coverage

For those posting not only worth mentioning hull coverage but total liability and almost as important passenger liability.

For me, 160k hull, one million total liability and 200k passenger. $ 1,650 annually no deductible.

If you get hull insurance (as opposed to just liability) make sure you are not underinsured. If you have an incident they will give you your hull damage and get your entire airframe. Just engine and avionics (which most likely will survive) is worth 60k+.

RV7, went up several hundred ( I assume because I'm 71 now) 135K hull about $1600. 6600 hours; about half tailwheel, 700 plus in RVs.

I just renewed with Gallagher Insurance on my RV-6 a month or so ago.

$1M policy with $200k sublimit, $120,000 value, for a $1,348 premium.

10,000 hrs w/ 1,250 tailwheel.

I'm glad I'm not trying to insure an Aerostar, new SR22, or a Lancair Legacy. I can only imagine what those cats are paying.
