RV4 create inspection panels in floor-is it structural

Hello all
I’ve been a long time lurker on the forum and recently bought a nice low time RV4 from the builder/owner. I’ve bugged him with lots of questions already!
I’ve searched on the forum and can’t find much information on the subject.
I’m replacing some avionics and running wiring through various compartments, in the process going to install PTT wiring for intercom in rear passenger area and new wiring in front position.
The floor looks difficult to remove without removing lots of screws, perhaps even the front seat itself. I’d like to put an inspection panel in the floor area to help with the project and simplify annual inspections also.

I’m assuming this area is not structural if I make small inspection plates?

Thanks in advance for any assistance the group can provide!

The floor under the front seat area should be on with screws and come up easy. Its also the panel you can install foorwells for rear pax if you don't have them already. The aft floor is riveted, and it's no biggie to put access panels if you need. But, the best routing is often down the sides above the floor. I routed most everything down the sides . I also made sidewall closeout panels to keep rudder cable and wiring from fouling with passengers and such.

Thanks , the photos are a great help! I do have the passenger footwells. I may route things down the side as suggested. I do want an easier way to look inside for condition inspections .

Also, as an APIA, I do a lot of inspections and find the very affordable endoscope/boroscope cameras that feed to your phone are indispensable for inspecting with minimal opening . If you look forward through the bulkhead at the baggage opening through at the elevator pushrod cut-out, you can see most all you need back there. The openings for your flap arms on each side where the pushrods come out provide good access there on the sides, and of course the FWD and AFT stick wells can get you in the length of the tunnel. If you are doing your elevator hinge/stab spar inspections you will need one for that also.
