I have been working on covering my glareshield with vinyl which has a 10mm foam backing. (sewing is MUCH harder than riveting FYI). I wanted to make up some bezels which would allow the avionics / defrost fans to blow air onto the canopy, while looking nice over the padded vinyl glareshield, and my dad has a resin ABS printer.
This is desinged to bolt on using flush 6-32 screws, into the existing 50mm centre holes on the RV14 canopy skin. The underlying support should (hopefully!) align with the pre-punched hole in the skin. The lip allows the vinyl to tuck underneath the edge of the bezel, giving it a finished look.
The actual real life part below is V1 - i decided i didn't like the look of the middle circle with the "14", so did a redesign.
If anyone thinks these are useful, they should be able to be downloaded here:
I can share the STL via DM (although it should be able to be exported from OnShape if i understand that correctly).
Attached are also some images of the V2 render (yet to be printed).
