RV12iS Old style Engine Mounted Radiator needed

Hi Guys,
First post here. Our UK registered RV12iS has developed a leaky radiator after just over 200 hours flight time, even after we dynamically balanced the two bladed prop and did the mount mod. No sign of it touching the cowling. We have had the existing radiator professionally repaired, but do not expect it to last, so we are looking for a backup radiator. I have read all the posts on here about people ordering the new cowling mounted radiator and oil cooler, and ending up with engine mounted radiators that they no longer have a use for, so my question is, does anyone still have one they want to get rid of? It will need to be well packaged for dispatch to the UK. If so, send me a direct message.

Hi Mark - welome to VAF. You may want to specify that you are looking for the second version PN ea-rv-12is-radiator-1. Not the leak prone original.

RV-12iS Radiator, for kits shipped BEFORE 9/15/2025

Please note that this replacement radiator is only for RV-12iS aircraft kits shipped BEFORE 9/15/2025. Do not order for later kits or for aircraft that have been fitted with the updated radiator and oil cooler outlined in Service Letter 00112.

Mark - I have one that I’d love to sell. New in the box. I upgraded to the cowl-mounted version while the original was on backordered, and it finally came. Also have the oil cooler, and all mounting hardware if you need any of that. Send me a DM if interested. This is the revised version that preceded the current one.
