What type of ignition system are you using? 2 going bad at the same time a little coincidental. If it's a G3X system pretty sure they went with the standard probe kit so type of replacement pretty easy to find. Search ACS Garmin G3X EGT thermocouple.I suspect that today two EGT probes on my Mattituck built IO540 engine went bad. What data do I need to gather to make sure I order the right probes to replace?
Thank you.

I believe your Surefly has three coil packs, with each serving a pair of opposed cylinders. If, for example, cylinders 1 and 2 simultaneously show elevated EGTs, it is likely you have a bad coil pack. These failures can be triggered by heat, and they can function normally after cooling off. A post landing mag check can reveal the problem. I happen to have this very problem…..AFS 5600.

Yeah, I'd like to buy some spares but dont know how to go about that. If I had to guess I need to order from AFS: https://advancedpanel.store/collections/engine-sensors-probes
Absent an answer here, I'll probably confirm my plane has an SV-220 (or not) and give them a call.
If your AF-5600 is an older model with internal Engine Monitor board you MUST use a Type K ungrounded probe. If your system is using the Dynon SV-EMS-220 module it is probably using the Dynon grounded Type K EGT probe.![]()

Before you start buying parts. Do some troubleshooting. Swap known good ones for suspect ones. (Move them) If the problem does not follow then the probes are fine but if it does not then you are probably looking at a coil pack.I believe your Surefly has three coil packs, with each serving a pair of opposed cylinders. Does not sound like a coil pack issue, you would see a notable rise in EGT's. Worth doing the check post landing while hot but probably not the issue.3,5
Erratic and funny low, like half or less, flickering a lot.
Kind of like last time I had one fail...
