RV10 CAD transfer panel design

Hi folks,

UK RV owner here, I was liasing with a well known Avionics, panel & harness US builder( not MW), had video calls, plenty of to and fro’s with emails and photos etc, busy people probably a few months they said, this was November. I was basically after a CAD of my current Dynon panel, then stuff moved about to add a 175 & G5, a new panel made & laser etched. The UK is pretty slim on similar companies so I was keen to use a well known one, and I’ve been waiting on the first CAD design to get a plan in motion for the panel. People are waiting for the final design.

I have heard nothing since late December, sent 3 emails to the design team asking if they need any more info etc, no replies. Left a voice message too. I sent two emails the other day to other email addresses on the website asking if they are getting my emails, infact it was more ‘ I hope you guys are all OK’. Still no reply.

Anyway I give up, it’s not how I would run a business, I won’t name them as maybe a panel design isn’t as revenue earning as a full harness inclusion, but at least tell me.

The point of this post is to see if there are any RV 10 CAD experts who I can have a chat with just to get the raw CAD drawn up, I am useless with CAD but am happy getting the rest of the process done, I have a spare 10 panel to cut, I ve got most of the sizes of the current switches etc to work with.

Or are there any recommendations ? It’s not ideal not having a CAD already, appreciate that ,plus including current switches makes it fiddly but it can’t be that hard for someone handy with design. Obv not expecting a freebie !

Cheers Stu
