RV-4 rear aileron skins

A-401 REAR AILERON SKIN (I think it's .025)

Can one use .032? Airparts sells .032 in 60" width, which fits both on one sheet, I don't have to buy two length-wise and trim 40%. Aileron balance an actual issue?

I can't speak for today but original elevator skins were .016.
.020 is a nice upgrade without adding a bunch of weight. .032 would be on the heavy side.

I assumed that was .020 to .025. But I don't have that sheet of plans anymore (didn't survive the last move). If anyone knows for sure, chime in.

Sorry Bruce my bad I thought we were talking elevator skins. I believe .025 is correct for ailerons.
