Shawn, FYI, your RV-4 uses the same wheels as the RV-3, RV-6 & 6A, RV-7 & 7A, RV-8 & 8A and the RV-9 & 9A. Earlier kits used Cleveland brand wheels. Later models came with Matco wheels. Do you have a preference on brand?

no preference, just looking to have a backup set of wheels for "rough strips". plan to have 7.00 tires on them for insurance purposes.

You can use either ones. The older Cleveland wheels are slightly lighter as they're made from magnesium rather than aluminum. Those 5:00 x 5 Cleveland Wheels are also used on Cessna 150s
