Alex is as good as it gets and pretty convenient in and out of DFW. He's on the Vans approved transition training page. You'll also get a sign-off in an RV-10. My insurance company insisted on a RV-14 or 10 so I got both.
If you can't find anyone in South Florida, and don't mind the drive to Central Florida, then I would recommend Greg Ramola out of KSFB (Sanford-Orlando Int'l Airport). He trains in his RV-7 (or your own RV) and his contact info is on the Van's site here: https://www.vansaircraft.com/rv-flight-training/
