RV-12is Rubber Replacement

My understanding is that Rotax specifies rubber replacement at 5 years, but that Van’s used Silicon hoses on the 912is SLSA. Can anyone confirm? In addition to the silicon hoses, are there other rubber parts that are mandatory for 5 year replacement?

Thanks in advance for any guidance

If the coolant hoses connected to the expansion tank are red, they’re silicone.

Here’s the page from the Rotax Line Maintenance Manual that identifies rubber replacement parts. In addition to these, the eight short rubber hoses in the fuel-pump assembly also are recommended to be replaced every five years. Rotax removed that from their manual indicating it wasn’t on the engine, so left it to the aircraft manufacturer. I’m not aware Van’s has added this to any of their maintenance documentation, but I might have missed it. Rotax part 889537 is the fuel-pump assembly hose replacement kit.
