RV-12iS - PAP Section G1 - No trim power

Basically done with construction, so I'm starting the PAP. The trim up/down buttons (both sides) don't do anything.

I disconnected the trim motor and tested the motor itself with a 9V battery. The actuator moved in and out as expected.

I have the Dynon avionics with autopilot.

There's comments in the PAP about the trim speed adjustment, but most of those comments seem to apply to the Garmin setup. I removed the tunnel side panel and adjusted the speed control to both extremes and middle. No change. I'm sure the Start/Trim fuse is good because the avionics fans turn off when the fuse is removed.

Suggestions on how to proceed?

Hey Joe,
We have just resolved an intermittent Trim problem on our RV-12iS and it was from the red wire in the D-sub not seated correctly.

This thread explains it ,

Well, it wasn't the AP button module connector. It was the WH-P30-1 DB-9 going into the power module. It had female pins instead of male pins. And I don't think I put those pins on. The KAI says to install pins, but when I got to that page the pins were already on. So either SteinAir (or Vans) installed the wrong pins, or the tech from Synergy did it when I built the tail (including the trim motor mount) during their build class. I have a photo of the empennage interior from when I put it in storage after the class, and the wires were already pinned.

I think we're going to install the wings tomorrow for the last time before inspection. I have no reason to take them off again.
