RV-10 Engine Mount

I am currently drilling the firewall for the AN-6 engine mount bolts and notice that there is no call for a washer on the inside bolt head going through the firewall. Intuition would say there should be a washer to help spread the load. Any thoughts on whether that would be appropriate or just do as specified in the plan, i.e. no inside washer?

Regardless of the plans, in that application I would add a washer for reason stated. I have had my share of calls to support. Revision control on plans is not top of the list.
