Rudder Pedal/ cable attachment

Hi all!

I’m new to the Vans Forum. I’m a volunteer mentor helping high school students build a RV12 and have a question. We are working on sheet 32 Flight Controls and I don’t see how the rudder pedals connect to the rudder cables. More to the point I don’t understand why the forward end of the forward rudder cables have spade ends and not clevis ends. What set of drawings show this pedal connection?

Hi Dave, welcome! I'm not near this step yet, but I think you're looking for page 38iS/U-16. In my plans that's where the rudder cable link length is determined and the cables are attached.
