Rotax lifter check

Do all of you pull the valve covers on initial engine runup and check all the lifters for air as recommended by rotax?

Yes it is easy to do and it protects your Rotax warranty.

If you don't do the check you could have air bubbles in the oil pressure system and not know it. Bad news! It is a very easy check. The valve covers have "o" ring seals around the inside periphery so they just screw right back on, just be sure they are in their groove.
