Hello guys,
Vans KAI has a section "Tips for fiberglass fairings" about how to use resin/flox mixture to fill the gap between the metal and the fiberglass tip fairing. I'm wondering in practice if people do it for all fairings and how well it worked. I only recalled its existence after finishing installing the stabilator fairings
. I can see after riveting the edge skin looks a bit wavy, but I'm not sure if it's mostly a cosmetic thing.
The operation seems a bit subtle, and I wonder if you can possibly screw it up if not applied properly. Never done any resin work before ...
