Radio Noise from Trim Inputs

I have a 2021 RV-12iS with approximately 700 hours on it. It has recently developed a static clicking sound in the radio when activating the electric trim. The noise is intermittent and does not always occur. I have checked all grounds and they seem fine. Could it be a sign the Ray Allen Trim unit is beginning to fail? Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

Plane has the Garmin VFR package with dual G3X, ADSB-in, and autopilot options.
