Hey guys- I'm starting on the layout for the windscreen fairing and have been looking at a bunch of online pix to try and get an idea of how the lines should flow on this.
It seems like at the aft lower corner there are a couple of popular styles;
Lots of planes have the lower edge of this corner on the same plane as the longeron. which is line A in the picture below. Other folks extend that edge down to the skin seam, which I've shown as line B
Aesthetically, I like option A better, but it seems like option B might allow for less air and/or water intrusion as it protects the longeron sill area a bit more.
In either case, the fairing will overlap the canopy by about 3/8"
Looking for opinions from folks who are already flying here, which way did you do it and what were the results?
