question; size of windshield fairing at aft corner

Hey guys- I'm starting on the layout for the windscreen fairing and have been looking at a bunch of online pix to try and get an idea of how the lines should flow on this.

It seems like at the aft lower corner there are a couple of popular styles;

Lots of planes have the lower edge of this corner on the same plane as the longeron. which is line A in the picture below. Other folks extend that edge down to the skin seam, which I've shown as line B

Aesthetically, I like option A better, but it seems like option B might allow for less air and/or water intrusion as it protects the longeron sill area a bit more.

In either case, the fairing will overlap the canopy by about 3/8"

Looking for opinions from folks who are already flying here, which way did you do it and what were the results?

Just about to start on the windscreen myself, so not flying yet, but I think option B is more common. I studied a few at a recent fly-in and there was only one that was like option A and it had a cover strip riveted on afterwards to make it like option B. So that probably indicates that there was a problem with A. The fairing doesn't need to be full width all along the longeron because it can flare down where it covers the slider corner.
