I ordered all RV10 kits (QB wings/fuse) at the same time, except for the FF kit about 3 weeks ago. I've noticed that a number of posts here talking about waiting multiple years for random parts like nose gear structs, seat components, etc. I'll have builder assist and I'll probably also be working full time on the kit. I'm buying as much as I can to be available so that when the build starts on the fuse/wings (presumably 48 weeks from now), we'll have a fully complete stock of parts to draw from, and no time is wasted on waiting for things to arrive. My question is: Is this plan likely to involve interruptions due to missing parts? When Vans says a lead time of 51 weeks (for example), does that mean for the entire kit or potentially just most of the kit?
