Question before I close out the fuselage side skins

The F-1202L gusset has two holes on its top flange, but the KAI didn't mention anything like matching drilling or riveting. So is the longeron just supposed to rest on top of it?

Somehow this detail escaped my notes, but I definitely have rivets through the longeron into the top of the F-1202E-R/L, and I believe they're installed on page 29-08, where additional holes are match drilled into the longeron. I don't remember and didn't note doing anything unusual at this point, so I think in this case you can safely trust the plans to eventually fill those holes.

On that page 23-07, see Step 6 (Dimple the nutplate holes ...), and also look at page 29-08. The rivets through the bracket and the longeron F-1255 also capture the top of the F-1202E- L & R. I had to call Van's about this, and got advice from Kevin Miller.

Got it. It'd be easier to understand if 29-08 explicitly called out 1202E l...
