QB Fuse rcvd w/extra channel

My QB Fuselage had a 2"x5/8"x40" piece of aluminum channel pop riveted between F902L and F902R bulkheads (first bulkhead after firewall). Right where the F7105B-L and R sub-panels attach. It doesn't line up with the holes when F7105B-R and L sub-panels are in place. Since I can't find it on drawing 24 I suspect it was just a stiffener installed for the trip to my garage.

Comments/insight please.

It's temporary

Yeah, it's a shipping-only stiffener. I removed it when I needed access to the forward fuselage.

That brace is only for shipping strength. Remove it when you need to access that area. Keep it it may come in handy.

Some people have attached these to the bottom of the instrument panel and installed switches etc.
