Prop simulator spacer length verification

DougM

I'm New Here
I want to mount my cowl on my RV-10 but haven't purchased the propeller yet. Van's has a document (Simulating Propeller for Fitting the Cowl) that specifies 2-1/8" spacers for constant speed props to put the spinner backplate the correct distance away from the front of the flywheel. I plan on buying the Hartzell 2 blade blended airfoil prop and have the IO-540-D4A5 engine purchased from Van's.

Can anyone verify using the 2-1/8" spacers works correctly on the RV-10?

Thanks.
