Installing Van's Plane Power alternator kit on Lycoming IO360 M1B.
Nothing torqued up yet, but it appears the prop line may get pinched between the ridge on the engine casting and the alternator.
Advice?
I probably don't want to use a longer belt/bracket because I will then get interference with the cowling?
I could try to reshape the Lycoming ss oil line to reduce the interference?
Some have run the oil line over the top of the cylinders?
