Prop governor interference

PCU5000X and bracket from Showplanes. I had the governor set up to range from 10-2 o'clock with clockwise decrease. My rational is that I wanted a straight path across the top of the push rod tubes for my cable. I can pass the fuel line from spider to cylinder thru the bracket. As is, I have a cable and fuel line interference issue because of the bracket geometry and the way I had the governor set up. Thought I had it figured out, Ha! My query to the smarter ones is this: I figure I have three options here: (1) Have the PCU set up differently, but that = $$ and I have to send it out. (2) Modify the bracket to reposition the cable pass thru a bit higher via cutting and welding to eliminate the interference... that seems "doable" to me. (3) Reposition the fuel line somehow and leave the bracket unmolested. I do not know if that is possible or acceptable for any reason. If I could take it over the top of the bracket and keep it secured appropriately, is that a real possibility. Looking for any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions. Thanks so much!!

2 or 3 work. No real need to weld the bracket if you slot it, leaving the top angle in place. This carries almost no load. Can also just drill a 1/2” hole higher up on the bracket and run the line through that. No problem running the line above the bracket, just need to make an extension plate for the two adel clamps to connect.

Can also rivet or bolt a plate onto the end of the bracket and drill a new hole that puts the cable higher. Could also weld it on, but don’t believe that is required here. Not much load here.
 
Okay, just to follow-up a bit...I have reconfigured the fuel line above the bracket and will secure the line to fuel bracket with small angle and cushion clamp. Anyone see any reason not to do this please shout out. :unsure:

-attach the clamp to the pushrod tube
-gently bend the fuel pipe and rotate the clamp so the pipe is routed AFT of the tube instead of above it. It will be lower and shouldn’t interfere with the bracket.
There is a Lycoming SB that dictates approximate no. and location of the securing adel clamps. It also specifies max unsupported length of the SS fuel pipes.
Adel clamps secured to the pushrod tube per the SB and a re-designed attach/routing of the prop control cable seems the most conservative approach if the fuel line can’t be successfully routed.
Work hardening and failure of the brazed ends of the SS fuel line guarantee a fire.
High frequency vibration of the long bracket as well as operational flexing of the bracket are a possibility. In your approach both will impart undesired movement to the SS pipe.
 
Here’s a pix of how low my pipe is routed. The “S” turn upstream of the bracket is due to my engine being 6 cly, but you should be able to route the pipe along the aft side of the pushrod tube and be well below the bracket.
(Edit: please don’t knock the aluminum tape under my adel. A couple of my pushrods must have a smaller dia. since no adel will grip securely. The tape solves the issue.)
