Prime rudder horn?

Do I need to worry about the little bearings in the rudder horn when priming? I was debating covering the holes/bearings with tape before priming.

Any tips?

Don't worry about it -- Prime/Paint away. Any material on the inside of the bushing will get dislodged when you install the bolt/clevis pin.

I covered the bearings with a little disc of masking tape before priming. I admit that I am a bit OCD!

Put a foam earplug in it and trim off the excess.
