Just ran across this while making up my own checklist card. Anybody have a clue what this is all about? Are they saying this is something you do after you have shut down, or is it an alternate shutdown procedure?
My interpretation is that this procedure is only used in the event that your engine keeps running after both ignition switches are shut off. Then you turn both ignitions back on, pull the choke, wait 3 seconds, then turn both ignitions off.

I can not speak for Scott. He has not posted much since the loose engine bolt issue. I believe he lurks in the background, and only posts when he deems it necessary. You could give Van's a call about the Post Ignition procedure.
