pitot tube corrosion

So I have (I think) the Dynon pitot tube (w/AOA). During annual I noticed alot of corrosion on the pitot. Very strange as it is supposed to be cast Aluminum with Nickel plating. Obviously the Nickel is gone. That surface crust looks like classic Aluminum corrosion to me. Anyone else ever experience this ? Guess I just need to clean up/polish with Mothers Mag . . . . .

Same. I just ignore it. It is cosmetic only. My 6 sits on the ramp, so far from a beauty queen.
