Pitot, AOA connections at wing root

For you guys that made this mod, what was the connection method for removable wings?

I have a lot of experience with Swagelok fittings so used them. SS and brass can be kind of heavy, but 2 bulkhead fittings are not that much weight. They make them out of PTFE and you can usually find them for sale online but are pricey, around $50 each. You can use the one touch SMC fittings as well but for long term performance I think Swagelok are better.

I don't see anyone trying to replicate the factory socket. I'm guessing a short service loop to get hands into the gap?

Probably don't overthink this one. Something simple like this does the job.

A lot of post on this in the past. I followed I think Joe Gore’s way of putting a loop in the first wing bay so you could pull the wing out some and used push-to lock bulk head fitting from McMAster Carr to disconnect if I wanted to pull the wing clear off. The last poster’s post also looked simple and not to pricey.

Probably don't overthink this one. Something simple like this does the job.

Don't underthink it either. You don't want to be reaching for wrenches when you and your buddy are juggling a loose RV-12 wing. This application is an appropriate one for quick disconnects.

I am about to retrofit my existing (2001built RV-8) Pitot tube with a Dynon Heated pitot/AOA. Whity1231$ mentioned a lot of posts on this in the past.
Can someone refer me to post/video/discussion about plumbing for AOA or drilling holes for snap bushings from wing root all the way out to Pitot tube?
Also where to mount the heat controller? Looking for all the good ideas before I cut new holes in my wing skin.

I like the idea of a couple of those swageloks using the bulkhead mounting and a molex plug.

I installed a Garmin regulated heated pitot tube. Used the original AOA connectors for the AOA (using blue tubing) and routed a pitot line through enlarged tooling holes already present in the rib nose. The pitot line connects at the wing root with a push-on connector mounted on the fuselage. Pitot power wires route alongside the landing & nav lights but have their own molex connector. The pitot tube is mounted in the same bay as the stall warning switch, and its controller is mounted onto the inspection plate next in that bay. All inspected by a DAR prior to closing the wing.
