Shown is a smaller version of my other "pistol" type grip applicators - made specifically for a 60cc disposable syringe. For me (I'm old), I needed to use both hands to "squeeze" out highly viscous materials, i.e. thickened epoxy adhesive & tank sealant, and it pretty much wore out my fingers, not to mention the inconvenience associated with its (unmodified) use.
So I took a $4.95 caulking gun frame and "harvested" the grip portion and made a new "tray" for it to live in & an adapter for the rubber "piston" to maintain the seal when advancing the plunger rod.
