Pioneer control grips on the 14

I’m looking at getting some PCG grips customized, and I’m not yet familiar with the ins and outs of the stick lengths in the 14. I know folks using the Tostens may have to cut the stick so that it fits under the panel in full stick forward. The PCGs are possibly taller than the Tostens.

I’m trying to understand the scenario before I drop a grand on PCGs. Anyone use the PCGs?

FWIIW - I had no issue with my tosten grips interfering with the panel - after rigging the control surfaces. It appeared they might hit the heater controls before rigging, but no problem after. I did not shorten my sticks. The sticks in the RV-14 do not go under the panel, unlike some other RVs.

I’m not flying it yet, but I went with PCG. I really like the look of wood grips. He will customize however you like. Had to cut the sticks down twice. First was when they hit panel items. 2nd was after tail fitting and rigging.

Brian, that's a beautiful interior. Can you tell us more about it? Who did the side panels, seats, etc.
