For attaching sections of cowl or attaching cowl to fuselage, would you use extruded or non-extruded, or it may be called rolled, hinge material?
 
I used the stuff from the kit - rolled, except for the bottom, where i used stainless. In my experience it is the bottom that takes the brunt of the stress.
